"Thank you to Mr. Leroy Warden and his team for this fantastic opportunity. This scholarship has allowed me to pursue my passion and made my dream of studying Computer Engineering at NAIT come true. Initially, I hesitated to apply, as I felt underqualified for such a generous scholarship, but I'm glad I did. As I head into the next phase of my academic career, I am excited to take every opportunity and not doubt my capabilities. I want to help other students break down the barriers to their education and make it a right, not a privilege, to attend post-secondary. 

 

To future applicants:

Do not hesitate to take the opportunities before you, whether big or small. Be sure to take a leap of faith, as it may take you farther than you imagined. I would never have been able to have such a fantastic mentor as Mr. Warden if I had kept doubting my abilities. It's okay to know what you want but not how to get there; that is the first step in achieving your goals."
